Borderline threadworthy, I know. But mixed reactions to this hit.

Minor for interference called. Some say it was clean and should be no penalty, others say should have been 5. Some say coulda been charging or hit to head.

Van Riemsdyk hastmnt returned since the hit. And it could be another played Rempe has injured in his short career thus far

What do you think

2 minutes for being big.

Not borderline threadworthy. A tad late but just another play. If it's anyone else likely zero mention of it
Yep. It's not even an injury if he isn't big.

The entire panel on TNT just agreed the hit was clean.

Clean hit. Nothing wrong with this. It's getting old.

Brian Boyle has had some great takes on the podcast he does with Larry Brooks and Mollie Walker. He mentioned how in the NCAA, he had over 100 PIMs one season. Remember - fighting is banned.

He would get penalized whenever he touched a guy, basically.

Rempe will have to learn to deal with this if the league can't educate refs about these hits.

Being big isn't a blank cheque to hit guys late, from their blindside, and to the head. Rempe has probably been the biggest guy on the ice his whole life. If he's too stupid to learn how to hit guys while being big that's his fault, not the refs.
