Defenseman Marco Scandella is listed as day-to-day because of a lower-body injury after getting hurt in a scrum during Thursday’s victory at Buffalo. Boudreau said Haula (foot) probably will be ready to play by early next week.

Those foot injuries can be a PITA because you can feel fine walking around, but once you stick your skates on it starts to hurt and can aggrevate the injury.

I think we've moved past the day-to-day stage.

If he's not going to be out for 2 more weeks the Wild should put him on IR. It'll open 23 man roster spot and keep the Wild from going over the salary cap. If they did it retroactive to Oct 28 they could reinstate him on Nov 22nd (10 games and 24 days).

In order to exceed the salary cap and afford Reilly in particular, the Wild has placed defenseman Marco Scandella on long term injured reserve (LTIR) with a high right ankle sprain. He joins injured Zac Dalpe on LTIR.

It's a retroactive move (Scandella has to miss 10 games and 24 days, which means the soonest he can return is Nov. 23 agains Calgary; he has not been skating).
