L'Heureux definitely has that rat quality about him that gets under the skin on opposing players. Milwaukee and Rockford play each other enough so there is definitely some hatred built up and L'Heureux is smack dab in the middle of that. I think he went over the line earlier in the season when he sucker punched Colton Dach in the back of his head which put him on the injury report with a "upper body injury" - concussion.

They played a game a few days ago and L'Heureux got into a fight with a slugo on Rockford named Strand. There was a second fight in the game between Kaiser and Tomosino. They play again on Saturday for their last regular season meeting - should be a good one given the animosity between them and the possibility they may meet in the 2nd round of the playoffs if they both advance the 1st round.

L’Heureux is exactly the type of guy Habs need badly. Another Claude Lemieux.

Like him or not this kid is destined for greatness barring some major injury. He’s headstrong and not big

Nashville loves to overcook their guys in the ahl. Most likely another year out.
Most likely this but Evangelista made the team this year at age 21. L'Heureux will be 21 going into next season. His playstyle is versatile. You could put him on any line and he could make an impact on the ice. He may not make the team out of camp due to waivers considerations of other players but i wouldnt be shocked if he gets a call up at some point.

Think he plays in Nashville next season?
He is certainly serving notice anyway. I don't think anybody would have predicted it a few months ago, and as others have noted there is a bit of a mantra coming out of the front office about this "overcooking" plan for prospects. But despite all that, there's lots of room up front for the Preds, and if he's going to make an immediate impact where others like Tomasino, Novak, and Afanaseyev aren't... well... why not? He'll have to keep it up through camp, but I don't see any reason to count him out now. Preds management is probably watching Milwaukee very closely right now, there could be half a dozen or more guys there who are strong candidates for next season's roster, and nothing going on in Nashville atm. L'Heureux's heroics will not go unnoticed.

This kid is such a dog too. His size doesn’t hold him back a bit. There’s no quit in his game and he has a great motor. I am extremely impressed with him.

One could certainly watch him play then be surprised by his measurables. He plays heavy.

Completely agree, and I'll add on...it's hard to watch our series against Vancouver and not think how nicely his play would've translated to that series.

and his team wins the series after being down 2-zip...

i guess Texas Stars wasn't as good as many thought
This is an odd comment since the admirals finished 25 points ahead of the stars, who also had their best playing stank up in the NHL....
other info: Askarov played first two Milwaukee games, but sit the next 3 as the back up

L'Heureux is going to be a fine player for Nashville.

I remember the Nashville/Predators media being excited that L'Heureux had a Marchand style of bite/edge, albeit more undisciplined in junior. Will be following his progress even more this upcoming season

Got an unsportsmanlike penalty for chirping the goalie after scoring. He definitely is gonna be an entertaining talent to watch (as long as he plays for Nashville) but he is going to irritate players/fans of opposing teams. He definitely has that Marchand quality nailed down. Hoping the rest of his game ends up at Marchand quality as well but he looks promising
