Didn't see a thread on this guy. He was 5'10 when drafted by the Blues, now reportedly (by Blais himself) around 6'3. He's not particularly great at anything, and seems to have solid, yet unspectacular skills. However, his hockey IQ is off the charts, and he really turned on his game last year (his first in the AHL) and scored something around 21 goals in the second half of the season. He changed his game to include more checking, engagement, etc.

He has really impressed at the Blues camp and was one of the last guys sent home after last year's camp. It was just a preseason game, but he also had 1 goal, 1 assist last night in 5-3 loss.

With Steen now injured for at least 3 weeks, Blais might actually make the Blues this year. Would be excellent value for a 6th rounder.

Ive been reading nothing but unreal things about him... Impressive AHL stats last season and has apparently been extremely good at camp.

Shocked no thread has been made on him

He's not only a Blues prospect, but also a late round Blues prospect.

Blues fans don't spend much time, at all, to talk about our prospects on the main prospect board. I mean, if we barely talk about Kyrou, I don't think it's unexpected to not talk about a 6th rounder, regardless of how good he's been.

He was a prodigy when he was a kid. Played in the same team as him in Peewee... Didn't expect him to go this far though.

He drew 3 calls last night too. Very impressive stuff from him and with Berglund, Sanford and now Steen out he looks like the front-runner to grab a spot out of camp.

He can skate well and looks good with the puck. Strong positioning and willingness to engage which leads me to believe he will become a two-way forward. Probably 3rd-line material, but that's very solid for a 6th round pick.

Hoping he makes the team and is exciting to watch this season.

Had a natural hat trick today in the AHL after coming back from a concussion sustained with the Blues. He’s a ppg player in his second pro season - high hockey IQ, but needs time to adjust to the NHL.
