Theres was never really a big scare that we'd lose him to them. Even aside from the recent success, his upcoming talent could be his best team(s) in his tenure.

In any case, this was the equivalent of "we lost out on Herman so.... we'll keep things the same until next year when we can try and nab a star coach again"

Orgeron is not Tom Herman but it's a solid hire. Those kids played their butts off for him even though they had every reason to give up.

The thing about LSU is, anytime they have had a decent QB they are upper echelon. he's one player away from competing for a national championship.
