Maisonneuve and what? Maybe you're not that far from the Bell Center.

wouldn't official jerseys be just as expensive in other shops (if not more) than at the Bell Center store? I'd be curious to find out, as I'm shopping for one, and I've never actually purchased a jersey. I was always under the impression that the store in the Bell Center belonged to the organization. If that is the case, does the store sell at a cheaper retail price due to a lower initial cost or does it just set the retail value for other stores to match and have a high profit margin?

The price for a stitched jersey will be around $240+TX pretty much everywhere.

yes..im beginning to see that now...calling different places.....trying to decide whether to get that one or cheap out and get the 170 one with the size tag on the front

Pay the extra, it's a substantially better jersey and you don't look like a rube with the size tag stitched on the front of your sweater telling all and everyone that you cheaped out when it came to reppin' your team.

If you're looking for authentic then yeah they can be upwards of $250 + taxes but replica/semi-pro can be more affordable. If you're willing to wait that is. I usually check Ebay but am wary of import charges or high shipping costs plus survey the quality in the photos provided. These aren't bad bets depending on what colour you want:

Correct. They're the official replica. The authentic ones like they wear on the ice are like $340 for the jersey without the name... an extra $100 to get a name stitched. You also won't find any pre-stitched authentics out there (or at least I'd be shocked if you did).

If you really wanted, you could take the stitches off the size tag thingy and if you do a good enough job, I'm sure it'll be hardly noticeable.
