Yes … and the Sens were not sending him back .. so they lived with his strengths and weaknesses.
there was never any point in time where his play would have resulted in them even considering sending him down, agreement with the DEL or not. He was one of the top rookies in the league.

Stutzle was good on the PP the second part of that season but his 5v5 play and dzone play was pretty soft…. It’s fair to say he struggled at times … he was allowed to struggle in the NHL. I doubt his dzone play or 5v5 play was any better than what Briwn would have been able to provide.
