My friends and I are planning to have a hockey pool for the Olympics.

We got the rosters and all of course but what would help would be the likely pairings. Gagné will not have Forsberg as his center for sure and maybe your production declines a wee bit if Draper is feeding you.

So what I'm asking of you experts out there is if you remember the lines that were used at the last World Cup so we can forecast.
Not a wishlist here and i know that Lemieux is obviously not around, neither is Niinima. But this exercise would help a lot still to project the possibilities.

Thanks a lot!

Gagne - Richards - St. Louis
Smyth - Lecavalier - Heatley
Draper - Thornton - Doan

Niedermayer - Regehr
Hannan - Bouwmeester
Brewer - Foote (I think)

I don't get the lines Sweden played in World Cup. Look at the defencive pairings? What is the idea of playing two strong defencemen defensivly in the same pairing and two offensive in the same? Just plain stupid Hardy.

I hope they go with a lethal first line with Forsberg, Alfredsson and Näslund or Forsberg, Alfredsson and Zetterberg.

I thought that Brewer and Foote made up the top pairing. Meh, I guess it doesn't really matter.
