I've come to the conclusion that my hockey gear is waaay too heavy. I've started making the switch to smaller shoulder pads, composite sticks, etc. But as far as the rest of the equipment goes, what's the lightest stuff out there? My main concern are skates and gloves.

Vapor XXX and Supreme8090 skates are pretty light.

Almost all the $500 ice skates are light. I bought the Synergy skates when they first came out and they are incredibly light. Almost all the Synergy equipment is light you just have to pay top dollar to get it.
