So much for my dreams of Tucson becoming a Star Trek story with Captain Kirk at the helm.

Not a BA pick. He earned his contract through a better than expected Worlds if I recall correctly but given the prospect depth on this team he was getting passed by numerous other players each draft.

Sad, but he was a long shot even when this team had no winger depth. Ultimately, he wasn’t even a top 20 prospect for the coyotes at this point and there’s no shame in that being a 7th rounder from 5 years ago

Probably would have made it with better injury luck but he had no time to spare, so they were devastating. Frees up a contract spot.
