Yes I actually do feel this way.
I know I am in the minority and I accept that.

I just feel it’s time for something new.
What would you suggest? Asking sincerely.

I'll confess to liking the whiteout because it's cohesive and easily managed for most. It gives the fans something to belong to and allows them to visually show their support in addition to cheering loudly. It is something that Winnipeg's NHL fans are "known for" to an extent.

It's not novel, Calgary's sea of red came first IIRC but I wonder how you feel about Calgary's approach as well?

I'm trying to understand it from the other perspective.

I'll take the blame for our poor playoff record. My GDTs in the post season do not live up to the expectations of the ones in the regular season. So if you want to blame someone, blame me...

While the Whiteout parties are a great boost to the Winnipeg psyche, you have to wonder what it will be like to be standing outside for 3 hours at 9 pm on a chilly April night.

(Full disclosure: I'll be inside on Monday in one of the boxes.)

I agree 100000%
I have said exactly this from the first moment years and years ago.
it’s a loser tradition from a loser franchise.

Typical winnipeg living in the past.
Time to actually progress into something new!
Let me guess, you were also opposed to them keeping the Jets name! Maybe cheer for another team, if it's a loser tradition and a loser franchise.

The facts are that since the whiteout came:
- The Jets do better in away games.
- The Jets' home record was better before the whiteout.

IMO the whiteout inspires the opponent.

When do you think the Whiteout started?

For anyone that wants to get rid of the Whiteout...

Instead of just saying get rid of it, how about suggesting some alternatives then.

Sorry getting to a conference final is considered not working?

Some teams have not made playoffs since we came into the league fyi, while others have gotten out of the first round a single time in the past 12 years.

The whiteout is something special to this city, it reps old and new, you win with it and you lose with it, thats hockey.

WHITE OUT STAYS FOREVER!

Perhaps a paper bag over my head, or just slip on my (used) cancer mask......

C'mon folks, get real.

I bet you wanted Scheifele and Hellebuyck traded last summer too.
Tell me which team wins the Stanley Cup this year before the playoffs starts and lets see if you are a winner or you have a 94% of being a loser.
