The best big man ever, imo. One of my favorites of all time...

Should have been in the HOF this year.
Really. When I really started following is a die-hard he was the most undefeatable dangerous dude like Yokozuna was at his time

His best wrestling was pre-WWE in the NWA. Just dominated.

I used to stop at the magazine rack at the grocery store as a kid and read the old wrestling articles and remember being in awe of the pictures of him.

My first exposure to Vader was when he came to the WWF. I'll never forget when he went crazy and beat up Monsoon. I thought he was an absolute psychopath at that point. Too bad they couldn't really figure out what to do with him beyond his initial monster heel push.

RIP, Big Man

How is he not in the HOF?

I remember him tweeting he didn’t have much time but then supposedly that was false?

I was so enamoured with him when I was younger and wondered how a guy like that could move the way he did. RIP.

A shame how his WWF run went. Should have been champ, and he should have been in the Hall of Fame years ago. Vader bombs for everyone, RIP big man.

Like others have said he should have been in the HOF. Ridiculous he isn't.

RIP.

Before his wrestling career, Vader once played in a Super Bowl (played on the ‘79 Rams that played the Steel Curtain Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl 14), and as an all American college football player at the University of Colorado, played in the Orange Bowl

Tragic and a real shame he didn't get to live to see himself in the HOF. That's on the WWE.

100% the best big man I've seen.

One of the best big men ever. When I got into the product in 1991 he was among the top heels at that time. His feud with Sting was my first favorite feud. RIP.

Ugh. We were just talking about how he was on “Boy Meets World” the other day. What a great monster character for so many years who happened to be played by someone who was on all accounts a great person.

It was a good thing that Frankie helped him out with the Bomb. He was pretty funny in his semi-recurring role on the show.

Too bad about Vader. I remember reading about his poor health a while back and good on him for getting through that and living longer than projected. I rate Vader as the best monster type wrestler ever and on ability he at least has a case for best big man ever.
