Correct. If Leon leaves Edmonton it will be to chase a Cup. He won't want to hang out in San Jose for three to five years while their prospects age up. I can't see San Jose being a viable option even if they do back up the money truck. Teams much closer to winning now will ALSO back up the money truck.
