Apparently I've been pronouncing Leon Draisadle's name incorrectly all this time.
DrySkull is the proper pronunciation according to Don Cherry.
Who'da thought otherwise?

The karma of laughing at old people is most of you will arrive there someday. Then perhaps you'll wish you didn't. Just a thought.
Okay I get it
I'll be nicer to you

This is true. However, when the old person is a xenophobic racist...
I was just saying in general. The comments reflected more the difficulties of senility, of being mentally outdated, obsolete.
I find that a bit of a disconcerting disconnect.
Ageism is real and there appears to be no social sanction not to engage in it. Especially in social media.
People still listen to Cherry?
Only to laugh at him.
he's better than giving guys silly nicknames.. case in point 'dr.drai'
In his final season (2010-11) of U16 play in Germany with Mannheimer ERC, Draisaitl potted an insane 97 goals and recorded 95 assists for a whopping 192 points in just 29 games. In five post-season games, he had 16 goals and 31 total points.
ehhhh, uuuhhhhh, whaaaaa?
I wonder what the scores were in some of those games. He averaged 6pts/game in the playoffs. Maybe some of the other kids were playing broomball

that's a blowout in football, incomprehensible how that's a hockey score. it's like the other team had 3 sets of skates and 2 sticks to share or something... "alright guys, absolutelyUnfortunately not all the stats seem to be still available online. But here are some results I found (First number is always Draisaitl's team):
13-2, 4-1, 10-2, 18-0, 16-3, 7-2, 13-1,17-0, 28-0, 14-0
Those were from the sort of qualifying round were the difference in skill level was even bigger than in the championship round that followed, where the best teams of the two southern divisions played each other to determine who will then go on to play the best teams from the north in the championship tournament to crown the national champion.
Here are the results from the championship round:
17-0, 12-0, 13-1, 11-1, 11-2, 4-5, 8-2, 16-1, 14-2, 8-1, 9-4,
4-5, 14-2, 15-3, 12-4, 8-0, 22-1, 17-1, 3-2, 9-2
And finally the results from the championship tournament. For this I even have the stats for Leon in those games:
10-5 (2G 3A)
12-2 (6G 4A)
15-1 (2G 8A)
6-0 (3G 0A)
6-3 (3G 0A)
