Least Favorite All-Time Ranger?

Piggbacking off a main board thread about the worst player you can remember, and figured I'd expand it to your least favorite since odds are that lousy play was a big part of why he's your least favorite.

@Thordic gets credit for my #1 answer: Dale Purinton. What a dirty, talentless POS.

Honorable mentions include Chris Simon, Igor Ulanov, & Donald Brashear

And while he always seemed like a nice guy off the ice, Ryan Hollweg was about as useless as a player could be.

Holik is the guy. He played for the Devils. Sather gave him $9M per season. Holik sucked as a Ranger. The Rangers ended up buying him.

Yep. That guy prevented the Rangers from making the playoffs in 1988. MacLean scored an OT goal in the Devils last game of the regular season against the Blackhawks. Neil Smith brought him to NY.

As for my least favorite? Avery, Redden, Holik, Brashear.
