Great grinding win against a strong opponent.

Keefe - keep the Matthews & Nylander, Tavares & Marner pairings intact at least for another game. They looked great.

Kallgren standing tall - can't ask for more from him.

- Character win by the boys, they dug deep against an elite opponent and found a way to win
- Kallgren had a good game. First goal was bad but he shut it down
- JT is on FIRE
- Malgin has done extremely well on that fourth line. He generates chances at will
- Keep the lines the way they are, they looked excellent

2-0 against two best teams in the East in b2b nights. Nice!

The Leafs D has been amazing. Beat Boston and Carolina on a back to back with travel with their 4th string goalie allowing 2 goals in 2 games, both on the powerplay/penalty shot.

0 even strength goals in back to back games against Boston and Carolina. Took the 2 division leaders in points percentage. Time to beat Vegas?

Gutsy win. I don't think they quite deserved the win but Kallgren made some good saves and the Leafs finally got some bounces to go their way. Losing to Arizona and Anaheim and then turning around to beat Boston and Carolina in a back to back is a huge change from last week.

Malgin was great tonight. I also really liked the split between Marner and Matthews, it opened up the whole game.
