HP Rank 75: doesn’t put up numbers, but his style of play makes it quite possible for him to find a role on the bottom 6 of a team down the road in his career.

Cool

Good young kid from Sudbury
Check out his playoff stats!

You gotta like that he is a May 93 not an Oct. 92 kid, that means he is significantly younger than a lot of guys in this draft...
Next year's numbers could be more like this year's playoffs - and if that is the case this will be a great pick...

Big, good size... OHLer - I like it.

Good read here: http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/juniorho...sh-Leivo-becoming-a-d?urn=juniorhockey-343546

Had a strong post season. Not that much of a fighter tho, likely a PWF.

Ambroz sucks, glad we didn't take him.

EDIT: people who have never heard of him should stop jumping to conclusions about someone they have no clue about. quit looking at the stats sheet. Scouts do this for a living and have more knowledge than anyone here.

Midterm Rank: NR | League Rank: 22nd OHL | Country Rank: 34th Canada

Josh Leivo from September-December vs. Josh Leivo the second half of the season are about as much of polar opposites as you’ll find in any prospect in this draft. After barely establishing himself as an OHL caliber player during the first half of his rookie season, Leivo maintained a PPG pace throughout the second half and went on to become one of the biggest revelations during the OHL playoffs. He’s a big winger who has a good mind for the game and knows where to go on the ice. Has good anticipation and can play the PK as well. Could be a pretty big steal if he can continue to build on the latter part of his rookie season.

Not bad.

his regular season stats might not be the best but he really showed up for the playoffs. 6 goals and 7 assists in 8 games
