Someone posted the Nashville clip on CP, the reason why that was a goal and the Zary goal was waived off is because of who touches the puck after the pass, in Nashville a Flame touches it, which negates the hand pass (although IMO it should have been a penalty for close hand on puck), where in this game the Flame got the pass after Coleman got it.
It's why the Mangiapane goal counted, because it went in off a Leaf so even though it would have been a kick goal, a Leaf touched it negating the kick.
As stupid as this all is, it does actually make sense and is consistent.
