I believe we needed to sign him before he commits to the Swiss league for two years. He’s young still and productive. Might as well see if there’s anything there.

Having Malgin and Robertson on the fourth line, with a right wing with size, would be interesting. It would certainly have a lot more offensive potential that last year.

People are going to whine and freak out but this is super low risk. If it doesn't work out he's back in Europe pretty quickly. Very much worth bringing him to camp and preseason to see what you have now that he's improved in Europe.

Great. He was the best player in the Swiss league and had a great world championship.

He's better than when he left.

It is almost as though a young player gets better with more experience. Who would have guessed?
