led all Q defensemen in playoff points. anyone seen fenenko this year?
liked him in 2022, he's productive and size isn't an issue. probably should've
been drafted by now.

Looks like he evolved in to an all-around defender. Good awareness, puck movement, discipline. He is still draft eligible, I think? But at this point its probably best for him to just choose a team himself from the ones that offer him camp invites or, maybe, even an ELC. Hope to see him in the AHL next year, really no point in him staying in the Q. Or, at least, split tame between AHL and ECHL.

Disappointed he goes to Mestis. Sure, nothing left for him in the Q, but I sincerely though he would get a try out, or maybe even an ELC from someone. His production and overall play at 19 years old is certainly on par with a successful mid round prospect. Yet somehow, no one decided to give him a chance? Ravinskis took the same route a few years back, and Fenenko is miles ahead of him in terms of talent. I actually thought he is the future top D on Latvian national team, and now it seems his career will be more that of a Miks Tumanovs, at best.
