Can someone tell me the point of stupid trades like this

One team gets rid of a contract and the other one gets a player for its AHL team. Do you think teams should only be allowed to make trades you dont consider stupid ?

We all know Future Considerations is not gonna be a goal scorer especially on the Kings team.

I’m not as high on him, he’s no Cap Space. Now he’s a future stud to look out for.

His game is better suited for Europe. He hasn't dressed for a game in the AHL since December since 7 other D are ahead of him.

The Kings do this sorta thing all the time. A player not getting a lot of ice time or ice time he thinks he should they move him along cheap We traded cammy earlier this year for the same sorta reason Cammy lost his top 6 spot to Iafallo we traded him to edmonton so he could get more ice time. He wasn't playing at all in Ontario so we moved him to a spot he can play.
