Don’t like it at all. Marleau is overpaid, but you know what you’re getting out of him. 82 games and quality character. Shouldn’t have been the comparable. Kovalchuk is too much of a wildcard.

That seems steep, but I guess we’ll see. I have no idea what to expect from Kovy anymore. He could put up 70+. He could put up 40. Just no clue how this will play out.

It’s Kovalchuk not someone who’s a bender . He still produced in the KHL. We always say players in their 35+ years will be bad blah blah blah what about Marleau ? Joe Thornton ? Selanne ? And many others . This first time Kopi has someone with the sniper capabilities. I for one am very excited

if he's chasing a Cup, signing with a team that's been on the decline for several years is counterproductive. The Kings' window is slammed shut.
