If we see different personnel out there, then we know it's truly Hiller's powerplay. If we see the same ol' 5 out there, minus Dustin Brown, then TMc is influencing it. Brown had 3 PP points last season and played 2:05 minutes per game on it. Iafallo was just a little better with 40 seconds more TOI per game. IA should not be on the powerplay. He's not a shooter or a passer and that's what you need on the unit.
If the Kings PP becomes less grind of the puck around the boards, more quick tape to tape passing, less predictable get the puck back to the point and hope for a tip/rebound, then we know Hiller has made a big coaching impact. I would like to see the umbrella formation, where shots can come from the point(left, middle, right, and sprinkled w/ a one-timer), Bumper position, and left/right shots just inside the circles. Back door play as well, but do the Kings have the right forward who can make the soft/quick/accurate passes? The PP skill should be there, but is the right coaching direction there w/ Hiller?
