Out of Foster and Wideman, which one of these dmen will have the more productive career offensively? Both have very simmilar stats and seem like very simmilar players
Wideman does a number of things pretty well including having a really good shot from the point. He is a smart player and his contributions come from thinking the game well primarilly. This isn't to say he's without skill. He's a good skater, heady passer esp. as a playmaker from the point on the power play, really knows when to pinch as well. He has apparently a really even temperment that Pleau and Jarmo really like. I'd say he's a sure bet to stick among the Blues top 5 for awhile to come.
