It would be nice to see some other games over the weekend:
AHL: Coachella Valley vs Henderson (Seattle vs Vegas affiliates)
WHL: Seattle Thunderbirds vs Everett Silvertips (two local teams but need cheap price point)
rent out the ice for beer leaguers to play! I'm in!

It may be getting more difficult to bilk the same old fans over and over. So it's time to scam the fans of the two new teams into buying overpriced tickets for bad seats so far away from the rink that you have to watch the game on the scoreboard. Basically paying huge sums of money to watch a game on a big screen TV. Welcome to the NHL, Vegas and Seattle. You have now truly arrived!

Football is played outdoors in January so how cold could it be really

Plenty cold and besides this "annual" event has become no more than a Cash Cow for teams! How about doing something in the giving spirit and make 20,000 tickets available for Free for Low Income Parents and Kids and put some of proceeds towards a fund for these Parents and kids to get their kids into Hockey and play the Sport for say 2-5 years! Hockey is one of most cost prohibitive sports in the World but also the greatest of all sports and the most difficult to Master! I bet a few gems could be "mined" from these kids
