The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have announced that forward Corban Knight has been signed to an AHL contract. A 6'2", 195-pound center from Oliver, British Columbia, Knight split time last season between the Florida Panthers (20 games, 2 goals, 5 assists, 7 points) and Florida's AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates (33 games, 4 goals, 7 assists, 11 points). A fifth-round selection (#135 overall) by the Panthers in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, he's appeared in 29 career NHL games between Florida and the Calgary Flames during which he's compiled 3 goals, 5 assists and 8 points.
