Amazingly the only seasons in which McDavid did not score 100 points is his rookie year in which he got hurt and missed almost half a season and the covid shortened 2019-2020, when he scored 97 points in just 64 games.

This is when we are at our best. When we are physical and engaged we get our legs moving and the execution is much crisper cause we are where we’re supposed to be.

The key is staying disciplined. Be physical, skate them to death and give them a rough ride but don’t get drawn into situations that could give them life.

Kostin is physical and has a good shot, but he's just not as good a skater as some other big men.
