Seems to suggest they have little faith in Rittich.

Depth chart right now is Talbot, (Copley LTIR), Rittich, Portillo and Ingham platooning in AHL.

With Arvidsson and Copley out there is a little bit of space to play with--but with the secretive nature of this org we don't know if Arvidsson is back next week or next decade.

Assuming Copley done for the year and Arvidsson returns before playoffs--admittedly not knowing exactly what that interaction is with LTIR and daily cap, etc--assume LA has about 1.9m to work with.

I'm fairly sure Montreal wouldn't want to retain on Allen, but taking back an expiring bad deal, or a mediocre contract that can be partially buried, at worst, could work.

A #3 goalie suggests someone they'd like to keep him in the AHL. So someone who can pass through waivers.

Raanta is a decent suggestion, but his contract leaves a cap penalty even when he's in the minors.
