Larkin is going to be a go to top 6 Centre for a long time in Detroit. Is 60 pts nearer to his ceiling or floor? I can't tell you, but he isn't likely to slide into a 3rd/4th line capacity for an extended period of time.
Fiala is getting middle 6 usage, he's behind Forsberg and competing with Tolvanen for 2nd line duties as LW. If he slips to 3rd/4th line duty how will his totals be affected?
Larkin is the safer bet in terms of positional security with his team moving forward. Though last season's 32P in 80 GP makes you wonder about his point output.
Fiala I feel is about to break out, but only if he stays on the 2nd line - which he has competition for with Tolvanen arriving. If Fiala drops to 3rd line, or bumps up and down, his totals will regress.
