Sooooo... Ceci for Zaitsev and Brown... replacement for brown here?

Seems kind of obvious with this signing if true.

At worst... 1 year of Ceci... but hopefully they can rid of him too.. save the cap... and tomorrow Dubas should just go for it.

LW, Browns a RW, and both Korshkov and Bracco could challenge for Browns spot.

He was decent on Montreal's 4th line. Big body, good skater, a terrific forechecker. He's not afraid to take the body too. He pressures the puck well and forces play into the offensive zone from the neutral zone.

He's a bit soft in the defensive zone. A couple of missed assignments that led to goals at mid-season led to his benching. Julien doesn't like it when the 4th line gets scored on.

Eventually went on waivers and was picked up by New Jersey.

Decent depth winger that can't maintain a consistent level, so he's best played as a reserve guy in case of injuries.

Leafs had 3 players last year that had more than 100 hits. Zaitsev with 139 (traded), Hyman with 102 (starting on the IR) and Dermott with 100 (starting on the IR).

Agostino had 143 hits.

Ennis was on pace for 29 points in 82 games. Agostino was on pace for 31.

Leafs had 3 LW players with 43, 41 and 37 points. Marleau’s 37 is gone. Hyman’s 41 is starting on the IR.

Marleau gone and Hyman starting on the IR. Much needed LW depth. Johnsson, Moore, Agostino and Petan starting on the left side.

It’s a fine signing.

Mikheyev will start at LW behind Johnsson. Kenny probably on the 3rd line until Hyman comes back.

Not a bad bottom 6 guy or spare forward to have around. Was hoping my fellow Mt. Olive, NJ resident would stay in NJ but happy he's getting an opportunity somewhere.

Which has absolutely zero bearing on where he'll play. You dont understand what a 1 way contract means.
It means you would have to waive him to change him for one league to another if you put him in makes and he’s absolutly lighting it up he’d have to be waived and maybe claimed, so settle down there fella have fun with an ahl level defence and depth

Then we'll waive him. Who cares?

Also, if it was a two way contract, he'd still need waivers.

He'd have to pass through waivers if it was a two way contract as well

Why would we waive him if he was lighting it up?

Can't forget mikheyev. He's projected to be line 1/2 (babcock brought him up while talking about LWers at draft, so he's gonna be used on left side)
