... just clarified, refuted, quashed the 'quote' today by E. J. Hradek of ESPN that an anonymous owner had said that the season was going to be cancelled within the next 48 hours. Hitch said that what the owner actually said was that if there was no progress in talks over the next 48 hours that the season is probably going to be cancelled. Hradek could have got that quote off this board. A real scoop there E.J.
