Voting Hanas again.

As I said in the other thread, don’t really see why Gibson is getting more votes than NDN. I like NDN better by a lot. Think he has pretty comparable upside to Buchelnikov and already has a better frame to work with.

I think at this point its less about upside and more about likelihood of playing some NHL games

Man, this is a deep prospect pool!

We don't know if any of them will hit that elite status needed to be a perennial contender, but this kind of prospect pool is going to yield strong NHL players.

I think most of us that have been following the draft for a decade plus can see the night and day difference between this collection of players and the ones we pinned our hopes on in the past. Like Riley Sheahan was a guy we pinned a lot of hopes on, and he's definitely an NHL player, but if he was a prospect on this list he'd be ranking after Mazur and maybe Soderblom? Around there.

Why James isn't getting any kind of l respect here? To me he is closer to top 5 of our prospects rather than top 13.
Because you can't trust a guy with 2 first names. Plus he didn't show out until the last 1/3 of the season last year.

I went with Hanas but I could see James passing him if he takes at NoDak this year.

James and Buium need to show us this year they are more than just an interesting collection of tools.

Personally I am thinking at least one of the 2 takes a big step forward and has a really strong NCAA season.

But we gotta see it first.

Personally think Gibson's got some untapped potential. I think he could develop into a top 4 shutdown guy with some offense.

Even if he doesn't end up in Detroit(in their top 4), he's going to be one hell of a trade chip.

Even if he settles out as a bottom pairing guy, he'll have value to an NHL team.

NDN and Buchelnikov are great prospects though IMO.

I am hoping he is more than another Regula or Sambrook.

The fact that he was invited to play for Canada at the U18s and played his best hockey there is awesome.

Makes me wonder where that was all year though, if he can start next season with that momentum we could be cooking with some gas.

I’m in wait and see mode with him for now.

Y’all be sleeping on Red Savage!

(I voted for James)

Hanas skates like he’s wearing roller skates with rusty bearings and a missing wheel (sorry, @Frk It, I had to).

But when has Hanas ever shown that?
