Should have been Fast, IMO. He deserves a shot at the very least, and he's a natural RW so he just seems like the obvious choice.

I think all those of us who watch Hartford agree that it should've been Jesper Fast instead to replace MZA.

How many games can Fast have a cup of coffee before counting vs his ELC?
Prob 1 factor in that equation.

It was actually all due to the insertion of Carcillo.

That being said, really liked Miller's last stint with the Rangers. Carcillo has played well and Cally got healthy, there really was no room for him on the roster.

However, I'd prefer he didn't slot in on the wing. Hoping they at the very least move Brassard over and let Miller play C. Doubtful, but hoping. Otherwise, should have been Fast, as has been said.

I think the yo-you thing is overblown - baseball and hockey teams do this all the time. It's only really a problem if a kid gets brought up and then hardly plays.

The bigger issue here is that they brought up a center to play wing when they have a wing who IMO is more ready to play sitting there available in HFD.

Probably because he has more experience. Coaches always go with the experience. Hey, at least it's not Dorsett.

Unlikely. Just bringing up a player with offensive abilities in Zucc's absence.

I think it would take something very special for the Rangers to trade away Miller.

Fast is 22. Just playing in the AHL uses up a year of his ELC. The 9 game limit only applies to 18/19 year olds.
