With the 36th pick, Edmonton selects Ty Dellandrea from Flint of the OHL.
In some respects this is a safe pick, a player with no glaring flaws, good size, speed, hands, and ++ intangibles. On the other hand, I feel Dellandrea has potential home run upside due to his ranking likely being impacted by playing on such a poor Flint team. With more exposure and support, I think he could certainly be a mid to late 1st rounder. Some of this potential was evident in a very strong showing in the Top Prospects game. A welcome addition to an Oilers prospects pool in need of skill at forward.
7) Evan Bouchard - RD - 6'2'' 192 lbs. - London Knights (OHL)
36) Ty Dellandrea - RC - 6'1" 190 lbs. - Flint Thunderbirds (OHL)

@Get North and the Canucks are up next.
