Ayyy congrats Johnny. Well deserved, and a huge reason why we're in a playoff spot with five games to go. :)

Is it often that rookies win ROTM honors more than once in a year? He won it back in December right?

Edit: Earliest list I could find going back to 2009/2010 had Nuge winning Oct & Nov in 2011/12 and Palat winning Jan & March last season.

He's honestly a huge part of our success. This guy wins everywhere he goes, he's won a USHL championship, NCAA title, a gold at the World juniors, this guy is just a winner plain and simple. He elevates the bigger the stage and does what it takes to win, just look at his last shift versus Dallas.

Congrats Johnny, now go get your Calder.

60 points.

Just ridiculous. I thought I had high hopes thinking he would break 40. Way to go JG.

I was mad when one of you guys explained to me that they could not send him down after a few games to save a year on his contract. I thought "what a waste of a year"...what an idiot

Honestly, I'm envious of USA's winger depth.

Kessel
Kane
Gaudreau

Just disgusting.

Would be awesome if the next team USA was

Patrick Kane - Jack Eichel - Joe Pavelski
Johnny Gaudreau - David Backes - TJ Oshie
Max Paccioretty - Paul Statsny - Blake Wheeler
Zach Parise - Bill Arnold -Bobby Ryan

Ryan McDonaugh - Justin Faulk
Ryan Suter - Kevin Shattenkirk
Patrick Sieloff - Seth Jones

Jonathan Quick
Jon Gillies

:naughty: :naughty:

(I mostly just want a bunch of Flames on that roster)

With Burke being so involved, he's likely going to be a lock.

Okposo will probably be on that team as well and likely JVR.

Basically went on a red faced rant as to how dare Johnny Gaudreau call himself Johnny Hockey, who does this kid think he is, hasn't proven anything etcetera.

I am actually quite happy he said that.

Because the very next period, Johnny scored a goal and an assist.

What's amazing is that if you take the times at which he got the goal and the assist in the period, convert them from minutes:seconds format into just seconds, then convert those numbers into base-26, then take the "ones" digit from each, subtract 6 from the first one (it was his sixth game of the season) and convert those numbers into their corresponding letters based on position in the reversed alphabet for the second one, and then the normal alphabet for the first one, you get the letters G.H.

Talk about sending a message.

Doesn't matter unless you show me the maths to support your conclusion.
