Now we know why he passed on return to NFL

Will be interesting to see just how big this extension is but I imagine he is probably going to end up highest paid coach in NCAA

Compare it to Franklin at Penn State on the average. Shouldn’t be much variance from that though Franklin got a much longer term deal.

He didn't go to the NFL because he wanted full control over personnel decisions and Minnesota wouldn't give him that. No other teams were even interested in him.

I think there's a good chance Michigan takes a step back next year. Lost a bunch of key starters and both coordinators. Plus Ohio State will most likely be back to their dominant form.

Harbaugh wants to be made to feel like he is god. That’s only ever gonna happen at Michigan. When Minnesota brought him back, he thought he was going to sign a contract when they wanted to have a second interview.
