Well, here's a fun fact from the game notes:
The Jets are leading the NHL in fewest penalty minutes per game with an average of just four penalty minutes.

I'm calling jinx. Expect a parade to the penalty box tomorrow night.

I don't know much, but win would be terrific. Couldn't hurt, right?

I'm in a mode for the whole NHL. What? Hopefully the team is ready I so I don't want to praheses like ef teh ugh. As I'm still though sometimes it's hard for sanity.

"Serenity for now, insanity later!" as a Seinfeld quite.

Good call to give the team a day off today. They looked tired and sloppy last night so some rest to recharge should be good.

Put the last game behind us and come out hard tomorrow.

I considered the b2b a wash because Pens were also on a b2b but the Jets have had a pretty rough schedule with two b2b's and 7 games in 11 days. Of course that doesn't really apply to Brossoit - but in spite of that I've decided to cut them a little slack on yesterday's game. Did we expect them to win them all?

Always good to see Jets 1.0 vs Jets 2.0.

Buff good news soon, hopefully..

I've seen a few Buff rumors and now add to that with a friend of my brother. This rumor is that the team and Buff have agreed he should only play around 50 games for the regular season so starting him late to try to get the best Buff for a potential playoffs.

Rumors mean nothing but this one at least makes some sense.
I'll take 50 games of Buff vs no Buff.

Perfect plan
Get Buff back and then flip the switch :sarcasm:

That might be ok,
It can cost us a spot in the playoff also. Without True 1D (in Buff).
(Dont get me wrong)
Jmo is good and is 1 pairing D.

I hope if that is the plan Heinola and Pionk can help JMo.
And Niku and Poolman can survive the barrage.

I hope Helly sees this year as " i'm gonna carry the D". Hellyah!!!

As someone in the press mentioned, yhe forward group is Stanley Cup caliber. So we just need a Buff and a JMo along with vezina Helly to get us the cup a year later :)

Woh woh woh.... the flip the switch thing didn't work out so well last year.

Hopefully more of a learn to win without the Big Guy and then add him in as our big "addition" for the year.

I really want him to come back I do... I just have a feeling he’s done.
We need to learn to win quickly.
The current record flatters us.

Actually, it did. The Jets were considerably better in the playoffs than the second half of the regular season.

The Switch is legit!

I'm worried. No it's not about the 7-2 tire fire that had bad efforts and even more bad bounces. That's one game.

I'm worried that we are seeing a continual trend of horrible mismanagement of personnel and the continual reinforcement of the perception of Pomo having zero tolerance of mistakes for players and zero recognition of mistakes of other players.

I fully expect the line up and structure of the lines to reflect his poor decisions. Aka little being inserted back on the second line center with Laine and Elhers.

Bitetto continues to be played despite costing us goals in every game, while a rookie who is excelling on every platform is pulled from the line up for 3 seconds of poor play.

Roso has been our second best center, yet will continue to banished on the best line hockey that is playing 4th line mins behind 2 AHL glue guys.

and some more fun facts:

Neal Pionk leads the NHL in total ice time with 162:07.
Nikolaj Ehlers leads the NHL in penalties drawn with seven.

and

"Upcoming Milestones
Anthony Bitetto
Needs 10 penalty minutes for 100 for his NHL career."
