4 goals on only 22 shots , he looked pretty rusty and i thought he was playing too deep in his net .
That is not good at all.
I was never was a fan of his since his arrival.
reminds me of ol Pavy Cakes!

You are awesome
When Jets’ wins begin to blur without great argument at home –
Then its time to find quarrel in Raleigh
When honour's at the stake.
How stand we then, HFboardsmen,
Shall Ward be virtually killed, the ‘Canes D-men stained?
Shots from our wingers bending blades, space, time;
The puck’s mass grown exponential
Slowed passage of time, freezing with my blood,
Aye; Gravity itself defied from Laine’s two offices, and -
As our D-corps wreak havoc on the ‘Canish sheep?
While, beyond the exultant GDT, I see
The death of all hope of twenty thousand fans at PNC
That, for a fantasy and trick of fame,
Go to their graves like beds — and jostle for a plot
Whereon the home sides’ Corsi numbers,
Are testament to thy shame,
Which is not tomb enough and continent
To hide the blown out ‘Canes? O, from this time forth
Jets’ collective thoughts be bloody, or be nothing worth!
Going by history this should be a close game.
10 games decided by 1 goal
10 games where one team only scored 1 goal
Biggest differential 4-1
Evander Kane with a goal and 3 apples for a 4 point game that night.I remember the 4-1 game I was there it was a nice beat down the Jets should have won by more that day!
This is awesome
Obligatory :
A look back to Laine's first NHL goal vs Carolina.
He's got 15 goals in his last 20 games and recently had 2 goals in 2 of the last 3 games.
Wow nothing like rushing to judgement on a guy coming off injury. 2 of the goals were passes from behind the net to a wide open guy in the slot and one was a scramble in front of the net and the rebound was put off a defenders leg. He played a decent game for not seeing game action in awhile.Mason will probably be on the Moose next season!
Looks like the same lineup as last game
There is no reason why he wouldn't. There was just a little fear mongering suggesting he wouldn't. Someone posted a couple days back that Maurice is actually one of the more conservative coaches in juggling his lines.Good. I wanted to see that lineup but social commitments got in the way. So I’ll get to see them tonight. Also glad to see mo give the Stastny line some time together to gel.
This won’t be an easy game so it will be interesting.
