Allow thy creative juices to burst forth and wash over all and sundry, that action itself an allegory and yo, a harbinger of the raging and swollen murky Red River as it lays down its silky yet sullen goodness over the low lying prairie on a semi-annual basis.

Kittens, we inhabit thy thoughts, let thyself be distracted.

Yea verily the Meat Kittens must be pummeled. Nothing less will suffice, and in that sound beating lies the rectification of the Western Hemishere (ok, ok, make it a small chunk of frozen prairie).

We gather round you Jets in a barely perceptible groundswell. The firmament shakes at the awakening of the vast hordes of mongols inhabiting the central plains as they answer the call.

Altona, Halbeschtadt, Morris, Lowe Farm, Steinbach, St Jean Baptiste, St Pierre Jolys, Baldur, Pilot Mound, Silver Plains, Plum Coulee, Boissevain, Shoal Lake, Rosenort, Otterburne...and looking east such mighty centres of industry including Vivian, Kerry, Sandilands, Falcon Lake, Beausejour, Wanipigow... the groundswell of support is palpable as Millions (ok at least a couple of tens of thousands plus their pets so far as I understand) of Manitobans summon their nascent Coelacanthian powers for the execution of justice.

Behold the Coelacanth in its raw and terrifying fury - forbidding, and awful in its stark certitude, but somehow compelling (cute, cuddly even).

ARISE Jets, channel thy powers of the deep, that unthinking overdriven and uncontrollable urge to clap thunderous shots, unleashing gigawatts of power (ok, maybe a couple of foot-pounds of kinetic energy) on the frozen waters of Nashville, and pummel those hapless, forlorn, despondent Kittens. For in their pummeling lies a possible banner to be hung proudly for the Jets Canada Life centre.

We have to assume that Colorado over takes Minny for 3rd. Being 1st should mean Dal vs Col in round 1 and us vs a WC team.

I think the round 1 series will be pretty tough no matter who we play.

Incidentally, I have a profound loathing of dentists. I had a great dentist as a kid (two of them, brothers in the same practice) but my parents not having dental as a benefit opted to send me to a cheaper dentist. No word of a lie he was South African and looked exactly like Sir Laurence Olivier, yet sounded exactly like Szell.
