Logan Neaton has some interesting numbers from last year.
He had 1.92 goals against average over 47 games and then a 1.46 over 17 playoff games.

Well...it was in the BCHL as a 19 year old.

It'll be interesting to see how he fares in the NCAA this year.

Wouldn't it be funny if did really well but was not good enough to make our top 25 prospects?!

Vote Neaton!

Neaton's SV% was .914 over 47 regular season games and .940 in 17 playoff games last year.

I still don't understand why Comrie is apparently ineligible for our prospect list. He's only played 5 NHL games.

He has decent numbers in the AHL.

Could he still end up being a decent NHL backup some day?!

Was it decided that he'd aged out? He just turned 24 a couple of weeks ago though...and I thought 25 was the cutoff...?

Anything could happen.

I thought the age for eligibility was 25. I remember 50 games but apparently some lower number was used. More than 5 though.

He still isn't signed, FWIW.

By the time we realized the mistake it was too late. I thought he was turning 25. I didn’t want him added in the teens range when he potentially could have been voted in earlier so decided to leave him off completely.

-Luoto: don’t know much at all about him. Should be able to stick in the AHL at least? Otherwise not sure why we’d sign him, unless he’s another Raffl.

-Wong: He’s produced better than a handful of guys picked ahead of him.

-Virtanen: He’s looked good from what little I’ve seen. Needs to get quicker to make an impact.

-Nogier: He’s a meh player, but at least he’s a known quantity.

-Moe: Pet prospect who I like best of the three ‘tenders remaining. Likely amounts to nothing.

I also want to thank "puck stoppa" and the other contributors who worked on this thread in his absence. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Good work guys!
No problem, I had to contribute something again after taking a break from the boards for a while during the season. I enjoy it better on here in the offseason, I find it less negative and I find a lot of knowledgeable posters posting more in summer with great info on prospects and contracts.

Moe's SV% dropped from .919 in 2017-18 to .907 (bah gawd that's Pavelec's music!) in 2018-19 as a 20 year old in the USHL.
Neaton's SV% rose from .906 in 2017-18 (NAHL) to .914 in 2018-19 as a 20 year old in the BCHL.
Holm's SV% rose from .888 in 2017-18 (SuperElit U20), to .907 in 2018-19 as a 20 year old in Allsvenskan.

Nothing too encouraging here.

True, but I gave the edge to Neaton for my 5th vote.
