Jets really needed a win so did the Flames who prevailed. Scored first but not much after that. Flames ramped up the heavy game and the Jets meekly stayed out it for the most part. Still have a game in hand but need to play much much better

Calgary deserved the win.

On the Flames 1st goal the Jets had a 3-on-1 and Pionk decided to drive to the crease, fell down, and now it 's a 2-on-1 the other way.

Schmidt and Ehlers both had breakaways and couldn't score.

That Namestinov tripping penalty led to the go ahead goal and it was game over.
