JETS (12-9-3) at BRUINS (13-9-1)

TV: NHLN-US, TVA SPORTS 2, TSN3, NESN
Last 10: Winnipeg (5-4-1) Bruins (6-3-1)

Season series: The Winnipeg Jets and Boston Bruins split two games in 2013-14. The Jets defeated
the Bruins 2-1 in a shootout in their home finale. The Bruins won 4-1in Boston.

Jets team scope: Winnipeg has won the first two of their three-game road trip after a 2-1 win
against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday. Defenseman Toby Enstrom (lower-body injury) missed his
second consecutive game Wednesday, and center Mathieu Perreault (upper body) missed his first
game. Adam Lowry replaced Perreault as the third-line center against Buffalo. Left wing Anthony
Peluso played his first game since Oct. 19; he played 2:21. Goaltenders Michael Hutchinson and
Ondrej Pavelec have split the first two starts of the road trip. Winnipeg hit the road scoreless
in 23 straight power-play opportunities, but has scored with the man advantage in the past two
games. After having allowed power-play goals in the previous five games, the Jets held the Sabres
scoreless on four opportunities. After visiting the Bruins, the Jets will not play until Dec. 3
when they begin a three-game homestand.

Bruins team scope: Center Chris Kelly, who missed three games with an upper-body injury, practiced
Wednesday, according to the Bruins website. Kelly said his injury was not related to his back or
his head. Injured defensemen Zdeno Chara (knee) and David Warsofsky (groin) skated Wednesday.
Center David Krejci (undisclosed) and defenseman Adam McQuaid (thumb) remain out. Rookie David
Pastrnak, the 25th pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, skated as the right wing on a line with center
Patrice Bergeron and left wing Brad Marchand. The Bruins recalled right wing Seth Griffith from
the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League on Tuesday and returned right wing Jordan
Caron and center Alexander Khokhlachev to Providence. Griffith has five goals and two assists in
18 games with Boston this season. The Bruins begin a four-game West Coast road trip next week.

Really looking forward to tonight. A win and we get a nice rest and then start a month where we have 9 home and 4 away games. If we could take advantage we will start positioning ourselves very well.

So interesting match up. We usually play Boston pretty well and without Z they are a different team. I look at this as a pretty even match up.

One of the guys we passed on for bright eyes playing tonight who is out scoring Mark while playing a heavy role on defense. I have learned to love Mark like a son but there wire were some good players taken right after him. It would be nice to see Mark have a big game tonight.

Hope Matthew and Toby are in tonight we could use all hands on deck. YWG I noticed you have Hutch ahead of Pavs on the depth chart :naughty:

I usually take a ferry across the water, but riding a fairy would definitely be a different experience

They'd likely call up O'Dell or Cormier although Cormier didn't dress in the last Ice Caps game.

I think Cormier has been playing wing this year. They'd probably promote Slater to the third line C and call up John Albert for the fourth line gig.

I am not sure if that is the politically correct word to describe bromance anymore GJF (unless you mean Ferry) but either way it sounds like your day is away more interesting than mine. Kind of embarrassing I was some pumped about being first post on the GDT.

I'm just kidding - I'm attempting to 'will' him into the start tonight. ;)

Well in that case you have my full endorsement......proxy.....or whatever you need to make it happen! :handclap:

Pavs had a nice game in Buffalo though So this will be a tough call for Mo.

I'm so disappointed in myself that I didn't point out that "fairy" gaffe first.

I have a bad feeling about this game. I think we might see some very negative posts in the post-game because of it.

Winnipeg Free Press, Hutch has the start, Go Jets!

I'm going to play the sipowicz card, and say that I managed to will him into the net. :sarcasm:

Huh... Didn't realize we were tied in points (also didn't look though)! Should be a good game.

Let's go Hu-utch, let's go!

Yeah: decided to throw the chart up in the GDT, as I was surprised how closely their season has mirrored ours.

I read that article - it actually doesn't say that he has the start. It sure hints at it though?

TBH, with Pavs last game, and Hutch's recent play, I'd be more than OK with either of them in net tonight. I think it makes for a good story to see Hutch in net in the Gardens.
