Tonight's Game
The Winnipeg Jets look to even their best-of-seven first round playoff series tonight in Game 4 against the St. Louis Blues...The Jets doubled up the Blues 6-3 in Game 4 on Sunday night for their first win of the series...Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday back in Winnipeg at Bell MTS Place.

Goal Outburst

The Jets scored six goals in Game 3, which was one off the franchise record for goals scored in a playoff game...Winnipeg scored four goals combined in the first two games of this series...The Jets scored three times in the third period, which was the first time they scored in the third period in the playoffs.

On the Road

The Jets went 22-18-1 on the road during the regular season, which set a franchise record for the most road wins in a season...Winnipeg went 4-2-1 in their last seven regular season road games...The Jets have won all three games against the Blues in St. Louis during the regular season and playoffs and are 9-2-0 in their past 11 games in St. Louis...Blake Wheeler led the Jets in scoring on the road during the regular season with 40 points (10G, 30A) in 41 games.

Back in the Dance

The Jets are back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the second consecutive season...It's the first time in franchise history that the Jets have reached the playoffs in back-to-back seasons and fourth time overall.

New Playoff Foe

This is the sixth playoff series in franchise history and the sixth time the Jets face a different opponent...The then-Atlanta Thrashers played the New York Rangers in 2006...The Jets made the playoffs for the first time after relocation in 2015 and met the Anaheim Ducks in the first round...Last season, Winnipeg played the Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators and Vegas Golden Knights.

Central Rivals

The Jets went 13-12-1 against Central Division teams during the regular season, which is their poorest divisional record since going 11-16-2 during the 2015-16 season...Winnipeg has been above .500 against their divisional foes in four of six seasons since moving to the Central Division...Winnipeg finished the season 4-7-1 in their last 12 games against Central Division teams and three of the four wins came against Nashville...Since the start of the 2016- 17 season, the Jets are 47-29-5 against Central Division teams, which is second in the NHL...In that same time frame, Blake Wheeler leads all NHLers in scoring against the Central Division with 98 points (28G, 70A) in 81 games, while Mark Scheifele has 90 points (37G, 53A) in 73 games.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our Goalie dead.
In the regular season there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of playoff war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the Jet Fighter;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up Copp’s blood,
Disguise Chef’s fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
And lend Fly and Laine a terrible aspect;
Let fly, Aye - the clappers of KFC
Like the brass cannon; let the Buff o'erwhelm Binny
As fearfully as doth the sea, a galled rock
And set him
O'erhang’d and jutty on his confounded arse,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful confusion.
And Tanev of Nottingham,
Now set your teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every forward
To their full height.
On, on, you noblest Jettish legions,
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Show us here
The mettle of your skate blade; let us swear
That you are worth your off-season training (which I doubt not);
For there is none of you so mean in advanced stats,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
We see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Beyak, A Tied Series, and Saint Dale!'

Have to prepare for the Blues to come out and play much better than game 3. Hopefully the Jets keep their legs moving, keep gaps tight, maintain possession on breakouts and entries, and get pucks and bodies to the net.

Yes. The Blues will come out hard. I hope the Jets can match the level of desperation we had last game. Because the Blues can come out as hard as they want, we all know who the better team is when both teams are going at their best

Absolutely they will. The jets have had terrific starts to all three games so far. Now knowing what they have to do to beat Bennington, I think they can beat him more often to get off to a lead.
