Though he doesn't deserve the demotion I think Appleton is going to the Moose so he can get top minutes in all situations while Hayes draws into the lineup and Hendricks and Lindholm are scratches.

Future considerations is basically anything from free if you take on their contract to a player of equal value in the future depending on their play.

Chances took a hit by losing their last couple, but they were on a tear before that and were only a few points out. Don't imagine they stay up for pressbox duties.

Per CBA its means literally nothing. You can't include cash or players later. A verbal (ie non binding) "I owe you one" is the absolute most it can be.

Nope. Appleton and Poolman were for AHL playoff eligibility, though they might just stay down because of the adds (Poolman likely, and now Mo has his toy back so Apples is pointless). Niku stayed up so he's with the Jets for the rest of the year.
