Two back to backs to start the season.

December 6th they're in Chicago. The 10th they're at home against the Jackets, and the 11th they go back out to Chicago again. That's weird.

No New Years Eve game this year.

Very little travel with those two back to backs as well. I'm ok with that at the start.

That's ok. They can have the Moose take the NYE game. :)

Also, **** the schedule makers. Only one B2B is exclusively at home. The rest all require travel.

October will be an interesting string of gamest to start the season off with. a lot of playoff contenders from last season. I suspect there may be a possible full on HF meltdown by Nov 1st.

11 back to backs....did I count right?

I counted 12.

The Jets have a 4 day break in the middle of October (longest of the season excluding Christmas and the all-star break. Should be a good chance for everybody to catch an early Moose game :)

Last 3 games of the season are on the road against the usually strong Pacific teams (Ducks/Sharks/Kings) - hopefully playoffs aren't on the line at that point.

Just put Pav in net. Three straight shutouts and we're in. Piece of cake. :sarcasm:

There is a New Year`s Eve game, just in Glendale or Phoenix. TV night.
Would work great if the Moose have a afternoon game, come home to a
Jets game.

I think this will be the year I head down to Cali to catch a few games. last 3 games of the season with a day between each. However it's kinda stupid having the SJ game in between the LA and Ana games. Maybe I skip that one and take a bit more time to see some sites.

Both games in Chicago on second half of B2B within a week. The schedule makers really didn't like that we swept them in Chicago

I would say I'm going to see the January 10th Buffalo game, but I bet tickets for that game will sellout faster than the playoffs and it will be on kijiji for more than I'd expect to pay.

Really not loving the schedule especially right at the beginning. We have what? 4 road games with 2 back to backs. Just to start it off. A wonderful 6 game homestand, and then 11 out of 15 games away in November. Alright I included Oct 31st game in Columbus as being in November. So I am exaggerating. Wow!
