Could be. Could also be trying to be safe instead of sorry in Arizona. Bryson is supposedly day to day. Power too. Lyubushkin is close. Just don't break the NHL guys and have three sets to rotate if needed.

Agree. I can't imagine they would go to Arizona with six healthy D. If none were healthy then I would have expected them to call up two.

The very same.

He's been good at moving the puck for the Amerks. The seem to be missing a bit out of their transition game tonight, which isn't a surprise considering Pilut, Clague, and now Davies are all up with the Sabres.

They were already at 23 on the roster. So they would have to make room by putting someone on IR?

They would be hard pressed to make the space to call up more than Davies.

Last two or three weeks, Davies has been excellent for the Amerks.

Another under six foot defenseman. Not only is our defense core not up to standard skill wise, it’s got to be the smallest in the league.

Lyubushkin: 6'2, 200
And Jokiharju, Fitzgerald, Pilut, Clague, and Davies are all 5'11" or 6'...the only one I'd really consider small is Bryson.

The problem with the defense corps isn't size, or even really skill. It's that they all got broken at the same time. They're looking at having to ice numbers 7-10 on the depth chart all in the same game; no team is going to look good under those circumstances.

Not many good defenseman in the league under 6 foot. More extension at the blue line. Again being tall doesn’t mean good. Skill and depth is our problem currently but I’d like upgrade some of the smaller pieces.

I'm not sure what you are expecting of a 10th defensemen.

I have a feeling. He's scoring his 1st NHL goal tonight. I even think it will be for the Sabres. Small arena capacity fitting well with most of his prior experience.

Hard to judge, but very limited minutes and they only gave him 2 third period shifts.
