Realize there's not a lot of DIII discussion on here but was just curious about this player. He's listed as 5'8" so obviously would be a long shot at pro hockey but played six games for UW-EC this year and had shutouts in four of them - including a 42-save effort in the WIAC championship game when the Blugolds were out-shot by UW-Superior 42-25 but won 3-0.

It seems like he played pretty well in the AJHL and BCHL but UW-EC didn't play him much until later in the year.

Is there a story here? And was he recruited by any Division 1 schools?

The story is that he's Jeff Lerg with less talent.
