I was hoping they'd call up Ashton.

I know he isn't doing a lot in the AHL, but he's a big body can can skate.

My thought's exactly, with the Marlies not playing until Friday they could easily bring up Aston, D'Amigo, or Connolly to fill in for a game or two.

McClement needs more ice time. Maybe not 2nd line ice time but he deserves more. He's been solid.

Kadri deserves the promotion in the top 6, along with the PP he gets.

I realize they want to groom him back to the center position but nothing wrong to see how he does on the top line, or even with Grabovski and Kulemin. McClement can easily center the third line.

Oh well.

Kulemin-Bozak-Kessel - It has worked before.

Why is Buffalo keeping Grigorenko? He's playing less then 12 minutes per game including a 7 shift game a couple nights ago.

The 7 shift game wasn't a result of bad play, Ruff admitted to making a mistake playing him because he wanted to form a checking line against Staal since our top line got owned by them, so Grigorenko was the odd man out. He's looked better with every game.

Basically, we have awful depth up front on our team, especially in the middle. So this is probably the main reason why he is staying, plus I don't think it will help him develop anymore by sending him back to the Q to finish the 20 remaining games and playoffs when he shown he can already dominate that league.

I'm glad because I think this Sabres team is going to be a real stinker, I'd bet we would finish close to last in the East if Miller were to go down. So at least it's a reason to keep tuning in.

I was wrong, this thread has made me sad too

How fast does LeafsTV start playing once you order it? Instantly? Because we were thinking of getting it at the start of February, but maybe today if the game is only on LeafsTV tonight...

It should be right away if they have their ***** together.

Center Ice is cheap this year, $50.

I often get the Leafs' TV feed on Center Ice out west here.

We can't get Leafs' TV here, so just the games.

What is Leafs' TV, $2 a month or something? So Feb-June would cost $10, so really Center Ice for only $40 more and you get to watch other good teams around the league.

Shaw Satellite is $4.99 per month and as soon as the season is over I cancel it.

Or maybe Hamilton. I was hoping he'd get the callup over Frattin last time around, mostly because I didn't see the logic behind replacing an injured PFW with a sniper.

Hamilton is way better. leaps and bounds better than Ashton.

So 5 months at 4.99 = 24.95 versus watching NHL hockey from everywhere for $49.99.

Go to 2 movies would cost you more than $25.00, so CI looks like your better value.

It is but CI doesn't show the Marlies games, so with Leafs TV you get both and that is why I have Leafs TV but next year I may just stream it on line and stop the madness.....LOL

I think part of the reason Carlyle keeps his minutes low is because he's such a good PK'er. You ideally want him to take 2 shifts on the PK, one at the beginning and one at the end. He needs to be fairly fresh to do that effectively.

I remember on bell it was $24 for the year, but I always canceled after the season to save a few bucks. Sounds like you are getting ripped off.

I'll be sad to lose my CI at the end of the month.

What a joke

As much as i hate Komi he has been good for us. We actually need him. Pretty sad team. The defense has been horrendous

Gunner sucks
Kostka is fine plays WAYYYYYYYYYYYY to much
Phaneuf has been dreadful after a few good games
Franson doesnt play
Gardiner has been hurt
Liles has been meh
Fraser... is Fraser, sucks
Holzer was **** in 1 game

Any good dman? nope

...or the more likely situation: You have absolutely no ability to follow hockey in a logical and/or intelligent manner.
