The hot start did a lot of harm around here tbh. Expectations got really high after that, and the rough stretch of late levelling out the unsustainable start has put people on suicide watch.

The problem is that outside of the "hot start", this team is in exactly the same place it was last year. We were 0.427 in 2015-16; take out our 7-1 run and this is a 0.400 team. More and more it's looking like that streak was just that. Barring major changes either to the roster or to the coaching staff, we're headed for the basement with a bullet.

Yet when watching the games and looking at the numbers we've been better than a .400 team. I can understand people being frustrated with some of the games we've blown, but outside of those few terrible breakdowns/bad luck the team has played like a wildcard team. There's been as many games that we've deserved to get a point or 2 out of as there has been games where we deserved to go home with no points.

If 20 games from now we're still playing at a .400 point pace then maybe I'll agree with you, but what I'm actually seeing in the games and seeing in the stats does not indicate that this pace should continue.

um no lol lol the games are a lot closer and we got some points in overtime. Stop being overy dramatic lol we are not going to the basement lol Sure we weren't as good as our streak and we aren't as bad as these close losses . We will be competing for a playoff spot, nobody is running away with the division or a wild card spot. It is so close any one of 5 teams could finish first in the pacific or could miss the playoffs. Let us stop being overly dramatic

You remove the 7-1 start like it didn't mean anything.........pretty handy to support your agenda.

Remove that 5-6 game losing streak and this team looks great!
