Jack Roslovic vs. Andrew Copp

Looking at two centers who have been close to/above a half point per game recently. Both players were perhaps struggling a bit in Winnipeg, but have had a lot of success lately.

Currently Roslovic is with the Blue Jackets and Copp is with the Red Wings. In '20-21, Roslovic racked up 34 points in 48 games. Similarly, last year Copp copped 53 points in 72 games combined (played with WPG and NYR). Both players signed a deal in the offseason - Roslovic 2 x $4mm and Copp 5 x $5.5MM. In my opinion, both of these guys are about exactly what you hope for in a 3C.

Surprising that people haven’t heard of these players, but perhaps they will become better known this season.

Copp is the more effective 200 ft player. Roslovic is skilled, but seems like a soft perimeter player to me.

Copp is what you‘d hope Roslovic would become. The age gap isn’t large enough to throw a stink over as well.
